Your Sanity, Your Choice.

In the midst of many troubles, trials and conflicts, there remains the need to dwell beside the still waters. You may not have bargained for what you are experiencing or seeing almost everywhere, and may not even know the way out of the situations. Your existence in the future may appear impossible, as  the 'fear of the unknown' grips you, successfully keeping you in bounds. It may look like a time when remaining alive and having your loved ones do same, is a mirage, due to the preventable conditions birthed by scars of past conflicts, visible unabating intimidation, unwarranted suppression, with the nonchalance of those we gave the privilege of occupying positions of leadership. Man is not limitless, wherever he may be found; despite his level of sophistication, the wealth of his armoury, intimidating records and exceptional skills. These times are perilous, we must accept it and trust God enough to see us through. The troubles in the world today may never become better, but

'...Pray Or Die!'

We are constantly faced with challenges that have pushed us to the wall. The challenges are mere products of life. They present themselves even when the are unwanted. Such challenges had made many people to take drastic decisions that either brought peace to them or aggravated the present situation. Challenges are obviously not accepted by anyone but has a way of coming around. Believe you me! Challenges cannot be avoided-for sure. The question one needs to ask is. How can I be free from these challenges? In the Holy Bible (Matthew 26:36-47) lies an interesting story. Before this incident of the passage,Jesus clearly predicted His imminent betrayal, death and resurrection. He had envisaged the events and predicaments that would befall him. He had the foreknowledge of all that would be coming His way in a short while. At a time,He decided to visit Gethsemane with some of His top disciples for the sole aim of praying. Obviously, Peter,James, and John, who went with Him were respected m

I Am Beautiful

Have you taken time to look around in a bid to appreciate the mysterious masterpiece of God? Have you been privileged to visit very good looking sites in the world that are better used as or are presently tourist sites?Y You may agree with me that there are many such wonderful places in the world.Have you taken time to appreciate them? Only a visit to one of the tourist centres around may convince you. I have also taken time to look at the children of men. Many are exceptionally beautiful.   Pl ease, dont misunderstand me . Obviously, there are many people around us, that are 'fair to the eyes of the beholder'. Dont try to pretend now.  There are people you will see and wonder whether God was partial in creating them. Of course you know that He does no such thing.  Evidently, some people are very 'good looking.' Someone may be tempted to think that God took more and quality time or better materials in creating them; maybe He made them in the best part of the day, when a

Seek Fellowship, Not Attendance.

It takes great discipline to make out time to fellowship with one another, even in busy moments.  Your motivation isn't the monitoring prowess of your leader, neither should it be your desire to impress a man, but a deep understanding of the benefits of koinonia.  Sometimes, we make assumptions and hasty conclusions that a fellow whose level of attendance has dropped, is slowly backsliding, without having the knowledge of his/her predicaments.  Having a personal cordial relationship with God is much more important than your perpetual presence in the front row of the 'church auditorium'.  One can actually be present physically but absent and properly disconnected spiritually.  For some, meeting God is a weekly affair; at 'special' venues, on holy days, and only effective in the midst of others.  When you find yourself alone, in a place where meeting with others is almost impossible(like during COVID-19 lockdown), then you will realize that it takes a sincere and fir
